This is the "documented" time that our farmers have spent on the “borders” ..

“Borders” previously a name only associated with lines of control and our neighbouring countries… ??

“Borders”a divide created by the current government alienating our own people from entering the capital to press on for what are their constitutional rights …

But this has been ..and is .. HISTORY  in the making ..

365 days of determination 

365 days of patience 

365 days of humility 

365 days of unity and togetherness 

Today, WE SUPPORT FARMERS , pays tribute to the 680 farmers who have laid their lives for the world’s largest peaceful protest ever in the history of the world in recent years !!

Never have we witnessed such unprecedented numbers of people standing up (without being led by one single named leader) for one cause! 

We have lost count of the number of trolleys, the number of langars, the number of medicines, the kilos of milk that have gone into the making of the morcha ..let us not forget the hands that made the rotis,  chopped the onions, cut the vegetables, made the countless cups of tea, distributed the medications, looked after the injured, tended the sick …

Today , we pay tribute to the unsung heroes of the morcha who have kept it going through the dint of their sheer hard work, grit and resolve !

We pay tribute to all those hundreds and thousands of farmers who have marched to the borders leaving the safety and comfort of their village roads, the village “choraha”, their beloved fields ….

We pay tribute to our foot soldiers and am naming only a few ..

Tejveer Singh  Navneet Chahal ,Maruti Manav, Guramneet Mangat, Gurpreet Sangha, Vishvadeep Bhuttar, Avtar Singh Benipal, Gurjit Gill  Shakti, Maruti Manav, Ashok Danoda, Karmveer Bhai, Vasu Kukreja, Navkiran Natt Harinder Happy, Vikas, Khush Romana, Yadwinder Singh, Major Major Kulwant Singh and many many more who have kept this flame burning …

We thank them from the bottom of our heart for their energy, their determination, their vision, and focus. 

We thank them for weathering the storms and thank them for sending us the latest videos and updates from the ground at all times of the day and night …

We thank them for the constant pinging of our what’s app with messages and voice notes. 

I wake up sometimes to about 70 messages in the morning. but I am not complaining ..😍😂

This has been and is a long road. We want to take a minute to thank all of our family of 10.4 K members across the globe for encouraging and supporting us always, for your contribution through your posts , your messages , your thoughtfulness and engagement ..

We want to thank our group of amazing women who have worked tirelessly …. quietly and raised funds to support the morcha with medicines and essentials ..Thank you ,Simran Grewal, Pavneet Dhaliwal, Neety Cheema Takhar. Sandeep Dhillon, Simran Gill, Sandy Dhillon, Swapan Dutt, Bunny Dhaliwal ...sorry if I missed anyone 

Preparations are in full swing for the celebrations at the borders 

Singhu, Tikri ,Ghazipur, Shahjanpur 

The battle is by no means over ..

The farmers are staying put till the laws are not repealed on paper …

They are staying put till MSP is made law…

But even after, we all must endeavour to continue to support them with reforms that are much needed for the farmers …
